Einstein was a great believer that “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.” Despite his luxuriant moustache, Einstein definitely shaved with Occam’s Razor, the 14th century philosopher-monk whose Razor – or dictum – states that “the simplest explanation is usually the correct one, all things being equal.”
